Parish Softball

Fall 2009

Carolina Catholic Athletic Association (Parish Athletics) and Cardinal Gibbons High School (CGHS) are teaming up for the third season to provide a Girls Softball League (CYO based) for the parishes in the Diocese of Raleigh.  If you would like to help ensure that a team is formed for your parish please contact the Director of Softball at: Softball@Carolinacaa.org.

• No prior softball experience necessary.
• The third season will also be an instructional league. 
• Girls (open to the public) grades: 6^th – 8^th.
• Dates: September 12^th – November 1^st.
• Location of Games: CGHS. 
• Practices: One or two weekdays per week (5:30 – 7:00 pm). 
• Games: Saturdays and Sundays.
• Cost: $60.
• Coaches and Assisted Coaches are needed! A Coaches Clinic will be held on a date (TBD) and assistance will be provided to help coaches throughout the season.
• We are a recreational league thus all girls will make a team. We will place girls with girls from their parish.
